Caldecott Hill is a private housing estate, located along Thomson Road in the Central Region of Singapore. It is tied to the growth of the media industry in Singapore.

In the past, Singapore's broadcast station, Mediacorp was located there. In 2017, Mediacorp moved to its new campus on Star Avenue, One North. After Mediacorp moved, the old campus at Andrew road was left abandoned until today. It is also referred to as "The Hill" by the local media and MediaCorp employees.

It is served by Caldecott MRT Station on the Circle MRT Line.

Etymology[]

Caldecott Hill is named after respected British colonial administrator and former Governor of Hong Kong Sir Andrew Caldecott, who had served in various posts around British Malaya (Officer Administering the Government of the Straits Settlements and High Commissioner for the Malay States in 1934) for nearly three decades.
